The artists I was interested in doing research are:

I only saw one of his movies: 8 1/2, and I was so confusing about the movie. I started to get to know what the movie was about after read few articles about it. It was very interesting, all the scenes changed for some reasons I didn’t know, but I liked the world he created for us. And I’m interested in re-watching it.
I only saw two of his movies: Beware of a Holy Whore and World on a Wire. I didn’t like the first movie because all I saw was people screaming at each other, and I had no idea what the story was about. But I liked World on a Wire, one reason might be I really like sci-fi movie. It’s was three-hour long, and I didn’t feel boring at all. I think this movie inspired the Matrix series. The more “old” movies I saw, the more I admired those directors, and they made so many greats movies that we can still get so many ideas from them.

He’s one of my favorite artists. I started to know him because my sketch teacher said my sketch has little bit his style. The first time I saw his artworks was this summer at Guggenheim. I was so touched by his artworks, and his sculptures made me feel so lonely. The main reason I wanted to project one about him was because his exhibition is in NYC and we can get the first hand material of his artworks.

She’s one of favorite artists. I saw her artworks from MOMA last year. I think the first time I saw her spider sculpture was at Dia Beacon, and I thought it was so scary at that time. After I read about her artworks and I had completely different feeling. I will develop an article about her in later posts.
